Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a device and a method for estimating a disparity which can efficiently and accurately estimate a depth for each pixel of a stereo image. The device for estimating a disparity can extract first and second patches corresponding to an initial disparity from first and second images, and can estimate a residual for the initial disparity from the first and second patches based on a residual model. 디스패리티 추정 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 디스패리티 추정 장치는 제1 이미지 및 제2 이미지로부터 초기 디스패리티에 대응하는 제1 패치 및 제2 패치를 추출할 수 있고, 레지듀얼 모델에 기초하여 제1 패치 및 제2 패치로부터 초기 디스패리티에 대한 레지듀얼을 추정할 수 있다.
