Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an air conditioner having a heat storage tank and a control method thereof. The air conditioner comprises a compressor, a heat storage tank, first and second four-way valves, and first and second three-way valves so that the air conditioner can be operated in various modes. Moreover, the air conditioner further comprises: a first connection pipe extending from the second three-way valve to an indoor heat exchanger and having a first branch unit; and a second connection pipe extending from the first branch unit to an outdoor heat exchanger. Therefore, an operation mode of the air conditioner can be easily switched. 본 발명은 축열조를 구비하는 공기 조화기 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 공기 조화기에는, 압축기, 축열조, 제 1,2 사방밸브 및 제 1,2 삼방밸브가 구비되어, 다양한 모드의 공기 조화기 운전을 수행할 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 제 2 삼방밸브에서 실내 열교환기로 연장되며 제 1 분지부를 가지는 제 1 연결배관 및 상기 제 1 분지부에서 실외 열교환기로 연장되는 제 2 연결배관이 더 포함되어, 공기 조화기의 운전모드의 전환이 용이하다.
