Zusammenfassung:	According to the present invention, an apparatus for storing a digital image based on a sound connected to an Internet of things (IoT) sensor comprises: a camera arranged in a surveillance area to photograph a surrounding image; a sound sensor arranged in the surveillance area and sensing a sound output from an IoT sensor; and a processor analyzing the sensed sound to determine a current situation, outputting warning content if the current situation corresponds to an emergency situation, and providing surveillance area situation information including information on the current situation and a partial image generated based on a sensing point. IoT (Internet of Things) 센서와 연계된 사운드 기반의 디지털 영상저장 장치는 감시 영역 내에 배치되어 주변 영상을 촬영하는 카메라, 상기 감시 영역 내에 배치되고 IoT 센서로부터 출력되는 사운드를 감지하는 사운드 감지 센서 및 상기 감지된 사운드를 분석하여 현재 상황을 결정하고, 상기 현재 상황이 긴급 상황에 해당하면 경고 콘텐츠를 출력하며, 해당 감지 시점을 기초로 생성된 부분 영상과 상기 현재 상황에 관한 정보를 포함하는 감시 영역 상황 정보를 제공하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
