Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a rod-like carbon-germanium composite, capable of simplifying an existing manufacturing method, and a rod-like carbon-germanium composite thereof. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of preparing a reaction tank including a cathode and an anode having a base material receiving part; a step of filling the base material receiving part with a germanium base material; a step of filling the reaction tank with a raw material gas including a carbon-controlling gas; and a step of performing arc discharge in the reaction tank to manufacture a rod-like carbon-germanium composite.
