| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a shock absorbing device and method for a vehicle and, more specifically, relates to a shock absorbing device for a vehicle, which comprises: a variable unit which is mounted in a vehicle body and is adjusted in length; a shock absorbing unit mounted in the variable unit, having a height adjusted by the variable unit, and supporting a seat to absorb a shock; a vehicle height sensor unit mounted in the vehicle body to measure a height from the ground; and a control unit receiving a measurement signal of the vehicle height sensor unit to adjust the height of the variable unit. Therefore, the seat is prevented from being inclined.
