AUTO-IGNITION GEL PROPELLANT

The present invention relates to an autoignitable gel propellant used for a gel propelling system with improved stability and storability as well as combustion efficiency and autoignitability. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the autoignitable gel propellant contains: fuel including an alcohol-based chemical substance including at least one among methanol, butanol, ethanol, pentanol, propanol, hexanol, and heptanol, an amine-based chemical substance, or at least one glycol-based chemical substance including ethylene glycol; and gelled fuel obtained by mixing a gelling agent including hydroxypropyl cellulose. 본 발명의 실시예는 향상된 안정성, 저장성, 그리고 개선된 연소효율과 자동 점화성을 갖고 젤 추진 시스템에 사용될 수 있는 자동 점화성 젤 추진제를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 자동 점화성 젤 추진제는 메탄올(methanol), 부탄올(butanol), 에탄올(ethanol), 펜탄올(pentanol), 프로판올(propanol), 헥산올(hexanol), 또는 헵탄올(heptanol)을 1종 이상 포함하는 알코올 계열 화학물질, 아민(amine) 계열 화학물질, 또는 에틸렌글리콜(ethylene glycol)을 포함하는 글리콜(glycol) 계열 화학물질을 1종 이상 포함하는 연료, 그리고 하이드록시프로필셀룰로오스(hydroxypropyl cellulose)를 포함하는 젤화제가 혼합되어 수득되는 젤화연료를 포함한다.
