Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a charging apparatus and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates a charging apparatus through wireless power supply and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for wireless charging comprises: a charging circuit receiving output power of a vehicle battery and modulating charging power of a portable device; and a receiving portion arranged on a vehicle metal body, generating a surface electromagnetic wave, and transmitting the surface electromagnetic wave to the surface of the vehicle metal body.
