Plug having communication function

The present invention relates to a plug having a communication function, which comprises: a first housing (10) having a pair of plug pins (P) installed therein; a second housing (30) coupled to an upper portion of the first housing (10) to create an installation space having the first housing (10) therebetween and having a pin insertion hole (39) into which a counterpart plug is inserted; a power substrate (51) installed in the installation space, and mounted with the plug pin (p) to receive AC power from the outside and to convert the same into DC power; a control substrate (60) spaced apart from the power substrate (51) to be stacked, and electrically connected to the power substrate (51) to receive power from the power substrate (51); and a pair of communication substrates (65, 67) erected at both sides of the control substrate (60), and performing a wireless or wired communication function, respectively. Therefore, communication modules (66, 68) are installed at the communication substrates (65, 67) erected in a longitudinal direction of the plug, and the communication substrates (65, 67) are installed by closely adhering to an edge of the plug.
