APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for transmitting multimedia content. According to the present invention, a control method of a multimedia content transmitting apparatus comprises the steps of: generating multimedia content including both of an image signal and a voice signal input through a microphone; transmitting to display the multimedia content generated in the previous step on a multimedia content display apparatus; and processing not to include the voice signal input through the microphone in the transmitted multimedia content when a channel for performing a bidirectional voice call with the multimedia content display apparatus for receiving the multimedia content is formed. 본 발명은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 송출을 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 송출 장치의 제어방법은, 영상 신호와 마이크를 통해 입력되는 음성 신호를 모두 포함하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 생성하는 단계와; 상기 단계에서 생성된 멀티미디어 콘텐츠가 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 표시 장치에 표시되도록 송출하는 단계와; 상기 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 수신하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 표시 장치와 양방향 음성 통화를 위한 채널이 형성되는 경우 상기 송출되는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 상기 마이크를 통해 입력되는 음성 신호가 포함되지 않도록 처리하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
