Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a device for providing sitting posture information and a method thereof. According to the present invention, a control method is performed by a posture correction notifying device. The control method comprises the following steps of: collecting sitting state sensing information of a person sitting on a chair by using a sitting state sensing module installed in the chair; determining a posture of the person sitting on the corresponding chair by using the received sitting state sensing information; and providing information for posture correction when the determined posture corresponds to a bad posture. 본 발명은 착석 자세 정보 제공을 위한 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 자세 교정 알림 장치가 수행하는 제어방법은, 의자에 구비되는 착석 상태 감지 모듈을 이용하여 의자에 앉은 사람의 착석 상태 센싱 정보를 수집하는 단계와; 상기 수집된 착석 상태 센싱 정보를 이용하여 해당 의자에 앉은 사람의 앉은 자세를 판별하는 단계와; 상기 판별된 앉은 자세가 '나쁜 자세'에 해당하는 경우 자세 교정을 위한 정보를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
