Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for prevention or improvement of skin photoaging, which comprises an extract of Diospyros lotus leaves as an active ingredient. The extract of Diospyros lotus leaves of the present invention has cytoprotective effects against UV, an effect of restoring collagen content reduced by UV irradiation, an effect of inhibiting the expression of increased matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) and an effect of increasing tyrosinase inhibitory activity, water retention ability, UV barrier index and blocking level. Therefore, the composition can be used as functional cosmetics for skin photoaging or as an external preparation for skin. 본 발명은 고욤나무 잎 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 광노화 예방 또는 개선용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 고욤나무 잎 추출물은 UV에 대한 세포 보호 효과를 가지고, UV 조사에 의해 감소된 콜라겐 함량을 회복시키며, 증가한 MMP-1의 발현을 저해할 뿐만 아니라 티로시나아제 저해 활성, 수분 보유능, 자외선 차단지수 및 차단등급을 상승시키는 효과가 우수하므로 피부 광노화에 대한 기능성 화장품 또는 피부 외용제로 사용할 수 있다.
