Processing gap managing method and substrate processing apparatus performing the same

The present invention relates to a substrate processing apparatus, and more specifically, relates to the substrate processing apparatus which performs substrate processing such as deposition and etching of a pattern set in advance on a substrate using a mask. The present invention discloses a method for managing a process gap of the substrate processing apparatus, comprising: a process chamber (100) forming a closed process space (S) and performing the substrate processing using the mask (20); a gas spraying unit (200) installed above the process chamber (100) for spraying process gas into the process space (S); a substrate support unit (300) installed in the process chamber (100) to support a substrate (10); and a mask support unit (400) installed in the process chamber (100) to support the mask (20). 본 발명은 기판처리장치에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 마스크를 이용하여 기판에 미리 설정된 패턴의 증착, 식각 등의 기판처리를 수행하는 기판처리장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 밀폐된 처리공간(S)을 형성하며 마스크(20)를 이용하여 기판처리를 수행하는 공정챔버(100)와; 상기 공정챔버(100) 상측에 설치되어 상기 처리공간(S)으로 공정가스를 분사하는 가스분사부(200)와; 상기 공정챔버(100)에 설치되어 기판(10)을 지지하는 기판지지부(300)와; 상기 공정챔버(100)에 설치되어 마스크(20)를 지지하는 마스크지지부(400)를 포함하는 기판처리장치의 공정갭관리방법을 개시한다.
