Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a device (102) for providing activation voltage for a safety unit (104) for a vehicle (100). The device (102) includes a supply terminal (110) for applying a first supply voltage potential, an activation terminal (112) for outputting the activation voltage, and a control terminal (114) for reading in a control signal.
