Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method to manufacture an electrode active material for an electric double layer capacitor (EDLC), in which an active charcoal powder, a conductive additive powder, and a binder powder are manufactured in a granular shape such that the conductive additive powder is uniformly coated and coupled when the active charcoal powder and the conductive additive powder are coated on a surface of a current collector, thereby preventing equivalent series resistance (ESR) characteristic from being degraded. According to the present invention, the method to manufacture an electrode active material for an EDLC comprises: a step of preparing an active charcoal material; a step of preparing a conductive additive powder; a step of preparing a binder powder; a step of mixing 85 to 95 wt% of the active charcoal powder, 3 to 10 wt% of the conductive additive powder, and 2 to 5 wt% of the binder powder by a nanoset mill or a ball mill; and a step of, when the active charcoal powder, the conductive additive powder, and the binder powder are mixed, drying the mixture in a spray drying method so as to manufacture a granular electrode powder.
본 발명은 활성탄 분말, 성 첨가제 분말 및 바인더 분말을 과립형으로 제조함으로써 집전체의 표면에 활성탄 분말과 도전성 첨가제 분말을 도포 시 도전성 첨가제 분말이 균일하게 도포되고 결합되도록 함으로써 ESR(equivalent series resistance) 특성이 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 EDLC용 전극 활물질 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 활성탄 분말을 준비하는 단계; 도전성 첨가제 분말을 준비하는 단계; 바인더 분말을 준비하는 단계; 활성탄 분말 85 내지 95wt%, 도전성 첨가제 분말 3 내지 10wt% 및 바인더 분말 2 내지 5wt%를 나셋 밀(nanoset mill)이나 볼밀(ball mill)을 이용하여 혼합하는 단계; 및 활성탄 분말과 도전성 첨가제 분말과 바인더 분말이 혼합되면 스프레이 건조방법을 이용해 건조시켜 과립형 전극분말을 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. |
