Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an antibody capable of killing cancer cells by specifically binding to a death receptor 5 (DR5). More specifically, provided are an anti-DR5 antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer containing the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment as an active ingredient. The anti-DR5 antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof ensures improved affinity to DR5, stability, and effects of killing cancer cells. 세포사멸 수용체 5(death receptor 5; DR5)에 특이적으로 결합하여 암세포 사멸 기능을 갖는 항체와 관련된 것으로, 구체적으로, 항-DR5 항체 또는 이의 항원결합단편, 및 상기 항체 또는 항원결합단편을 유효성분으로 포함하는 암의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물이 제공된다. 상기 항-DR5 항체 또는 이의 항원결합단편은 DR5에 대한 친화도 및 안정성 및 암세포 사멸 효과가 개선된 것을 특징으로 한다.
