Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a positive displacement machine according to a spiral principle, in particular, a scroll compressor (10), and the positive displacement machine has a high pressure area (47) including a high pressure chamber (40), a low pressure chamber (30), and a positive displacement spiral (31) that moves along a locus, a positive displacement spiral (31) is coupled to a relative spiral (32) such that compression chambers (65a, 65b, 65c, 65d, 65f) are formed between the positive displacement spiral (31) and the relative spiral (32) to accommodate an operation medium, and a relative pressure chamber (50) is formed between the low pressure chamber (30) and the positive displacement spiral (31). According to the present invention, the positive displacement spiral (31) has at least two passages (60, 61), the passages constitute a fluid connection between the relative pressure chamber (50) and at least one of the compression chambers (65a, 65b, 65c, 65d, 65e) at least temporarily, a first passage (60) is formed essentially at a central portion (38) of the positive displacement spiral (31), and at least one second passage (61) is formed in an initial area (37) of the positive displacement spiral (31). Accordingly, the pressure in the relative pressure chamber may be set in an advantageous manner.
