Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of communicating with a vehicle and a method for controlling the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal includes a terminal body, an antenna provided on the body and a socket formed to be inserted into a vehicle key module. The socket is formed between the antenna and a substrate so that the inserted vehicle key module is electrically connected to the antenna directly without passing through the substrate provided inside the body. It is possible to control the vehicle in an optimized way. 본 발명은 차량과 통신 가능한 이동 단말기 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 이동 단말기는, 단말기 바디, 상기 바디에 구비되는 안테나 및 차량 키 모듈이 삽입 가능하도록 형성된 소켓을 포함하고, 상기 소켓은, 상기 삽입된 차량 키 모듈이 전기적으로 상기 바디 내부에 구비된 기판을 거치지 않고 직접 상기 안테나에 연결되도록 상기 안테나와 상기 기판 사이에 존재하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
