Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a server for providing an efficient service, and an operating method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the operating method of a server comprises the following steps of: determining a user level within a hierarchy structure and a user group to which a user belongs with respect to the connected user; determining a service level of a service to be provided to the user depending on a right set for the user level of the user by a manager of an upper level than the user within the user group; and providing the service to the user according to the service level. 일 실시예에 따른 서버의 동작 방법은, 접속한 사용자에 대해서 계층 구조(hierarchy structure) 내의 사용자 레벨(level) 및 상기 사용자가 속한 사용자 그룹(user group)을 판단하는 단계, 사용자 그룹 내에서 사용자보다 상위 레벨의 관리자가 사용자의 사용자 레벨에 대하여 설정한 권한에 따라 사용자에게 제공할 서비스의 서비스 레벨을 결정하는 단계 및 서비스 레벨에 따라 사용자에게 서비스를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
