| Zusammenfassung: | A method for controlling an electronic device is disclosed. According to the present invention, the method for controlling an electronic device includes the steps of: measuring a temperature of an object by a temperature sensor; determining whether the temperature measured by the temperature sensor is within a preset skin temperature range of a human body; and activating a camera for iris recognition if it is determined whether the temperature measured by the temperature sensor is within the preset skin temperature range of the human body. Accordingly, the present invention can activate the camera for iris recognition without a separate operation of a user and reduce power consumption.
