| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a battery cell having a structure in which an electrode assembly is sealed with an electrolyte in a receiving portion of a battery case, wherein the battery case comprises: a lower case formed with a first receiving portion embedded with a partial portion of the electrode assembly; and an upper case formed with a second receiving portion embedded with the rest portion of the electrode assembly. According to the present invention, in an entire length of the receiving portion parallel with respect to an electrode terminal of the electrode assembly, an entire length of the second receiving portion is relatively shorter than that of the first receiving portion.
