Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method of improving optical properties of stabilized polycarbonate composition. According to the present invention, a method of manufacturing a transparent polycarbonate article comprises the steps of: melting a composition at the temperature of 300 to 390°C to obtain a melted composition; extruding the melted composition to form strands of an extruded composition; cooling the strands of the extruded composition to obtain cooled strands; cutting the cooled strands to pellets; drying the pellets at the temperature of 50 to 140°C; and injection molding or extruding the pellets at the temperature of 300 to 380°C to manufacture the article. The composition comprises 0.1 to 5 wt% of water, and may comprise a crystalline additive having a melting point of 280°C or more and heat of fusion of not less than 1.0 Joule/gram (J/g). The composition may be cooled to the temperature which is 20°C or lower than a glass transition temperature of polycarbonate. 투명한 폴리카보네이트 물품의 제조 방법은 조성물을 온도 300 내지 390℃에서 용융하는 단계, 용융된 조성물을 압출시켜 스트랜드(strand)를 형성하는 단계, 압출된 조성물의 스트랜드를 냉각시키는 단계, 냉각된 스트랜드를 펠렛으로 절단하는 단계, 펠렛을 온도 50 내지 140℃에서 건조하는 단계 및 온도 300 내지 380℃에서 펠렛을 사출 성형 또는 압출하여 물품을 제조하는 단계를 포함한다. 조성물은 0.1 내지 5 중량%의 수분 함량을 포함하고, 녹는점이 280℃ 이상이고, 융해열이 1.0 Joule/gram (J/g) 이상인 결정성 첨가제를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 조성물은 폴리카보네이트 유리 전이 온도보다 20℃ 이상 낮은 온도로 냉각될 수 있다.
