Thermostat having improved reactivity

The present invention relates to a thermostat for improving the reactivity of a rod by improving a contact area between wax and a rod that performs sliding movement inside the thermostat. More particularly, the thermostat includes a thermostat housing in which a plurality of flow paths are formed, a plug for sealing the opening part on one side of the housing, a rod fixed to the plug and positioned inside the housing, wax shrinking and expanding according to an oil temperature so that the rod can be slid, an elastic member elastically supported on the plug, and a plurality of recessed parts which are placed on at least part of the rod along the longitudinal direction of the rod and are configured to be symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the rod. 본 발명은 왁스와 써모스탯 내측에서 슬라이딩 이동을 수행하는 로드가 서로 접하는 면적을 향상시켜, 로드의 반응성을 향상시키기 위한 써모스탯에 관한 것으로, 더 상세하게는, 다수의 유로가 형성되는 써모스탯 하우징, 상기 하우징의 일측 개방부를 밀폐하는 플러그, 상기 플러그에 고정되어 상기 하우징 내측에 위치하는 로드, 상기 로드가 슬라이드 이동이 가능하도록 오일 온도에 따라 수축 및 팽창 가능한 왁스 및 상기 플러그에 탄성 지지되는 탄성부재를 포함하고, 상기 로드에 길이방향을 따라 적어도 일부에 위치하고 상기 로드의 중심축을 기준으로 대칭되도록 구성되는 다수의 요철부를 포함하는 반응성이 향상된 써모스탯을 제공하고자 하는 것이다.
