According to the present invention, a dicyclopentadiene resin can be provided, which has enhanced quality including high compatibility, good color characteristics, and a low softening point by containing an olefin-based comonomer as a comonomer, and which has enhanced adhesion force due to low molecular weight and distribution of molecular weight. 본 발명은 디시클로펜타디엔계 수지의 제조 방법 및 디시클로펜타디엔계 수지에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 방향족 올레핀계 공단량체를 공단량체로 포함하여 높은 상용성, 양호한 색상 특성, 및 낮은 연화점을 비롯하여 향상된 품질을 가지면서도, 분자량 및 분자량 분포가 낮아 접착력이 향상된, 디시클로펜타디엔계 수지를 제공할 수 있다.
