Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a display device and an image processing method thereof. According to the present invention, the display device may include a display panel which comprises a plurality of pixels made up of red, green, blue and white sub-pixels, an image data processing part which converts a three-color input image, supplied to the red, green, blue and white sub-pixels, into four-color image data, calculates a color contrast ratio using a luminance weight and a color weight in consideration of human perception, and outputs an output image in consideration of a color contrast ratio, and a timing controller which sorts and outputs the output image data outputted from the image data processing part. 표시장치 및 그의 영상 데이터 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 표시장치는 적색, 녹색, 청색 및 백색 서브 픽셀로 이루어진 복수의 픽셀을 포함하는 표시 패널, 적색, 녹색, 청색 및 백색 서브 픽셀에 공급되는 3색 입력 영상을 4색 영상 데이터로 변환하고, 사람의 인지를 고려한 휘도 가중치와 색상 가중치를 이용하여 색대비비를 연산하며, 색대비비를 고려하여 출력 영상을 출력하는 영상 데이터 처리부 및 영상 데이터 처리부에서 출력되는 상기 출력 영상 데이터를 정렬하여 출력하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 포함할 수 있다.
