Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a novel material for skin whitening, a composition comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing the material. The material for skin whitening according to an aspect of the present invention has no toxicity to skin cells, but has an excellent melanin biosynthesis inhibiting effect, and thus can be used as a composition for skin whitening or a composition for preventing or reducing skin pigmentation. 본 명세서에는 신규한 미백용 물질, 그 물질을 포함하는 조성물 및 그 물질의 제조방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 미백용 물질은, 피부 세포에 대한 독성은 없으면서, 우수한 멜라닌 생합성 억제 효과가 있으므로, 미백용 조성물, 또는 기미 예방 또는 개선용 조성물로 활용할 수 있다.
