Zusammenfassung:	The present invention applies a transmission control film capable of adjusting a transmittance to a backlight unit as an optical member. Especially, the transmission control film is located at the top or the bottom of a diffusion sheet. Therefore, a light leakage defect of a liquid crystal display device is improved and a contrast ratio (CR) can be improved. The liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid crystal panel; and the backlight unit at the bottom of the liquid crystal panel. 본 발명에서는, 백라이트유닛에 투과율 조절이 가능한 투과제어필름을 광학 부재로 적용하게 되며, 특히 투과제어필름을 확산시트 상부나 하부에 배치하게 된다. 이에 따라, 액정표시장치의 빛샘 불량을 개선하면서 CR을 향상시킬 수 있게 된다.
