3 APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING DATA FOR 3-D MAPPING

The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting data, which has a degree of freedom (DOF) in the three directions of roll, pitch and yaw. The apparatus for collecting data for 3D mapping comprises: a sensor unit having a depth sensor, a location sensor, and an image sensor; a connection member horizontally extending in both directions of the sensor unit; a support member vertically extending from one end of the connection member and hinged to the connection member to rotate the sensor unit towards the pitch direction; a penetrating member penetrating and coupled to the support member to slide and rotating the sensor unit in the yaw direction; and a fixing member hinged to the penetrating member and rotating the sensor unit in the roll direction. According to the present invention, a user can carry the apparatus for collecting data, which collects various data for 3D mapping, so that the apparatus is able to continuously obtain depth values for the roll, pitch, and yaw directions while moving.
