Electronic Apparatus and the Controlling Method thereof

According to one aspect of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a housing including at least one of a display for outputting an image and a speaker for outputting sound; a mounting sensing part positioned on a first surface of the housing and identifying whether a grill is mounted; and a processor for controlling the compensation of at least one of the output image of the display or the output sound of the speaker depending on whether the grill, identified by the mounting sensing part, is mounted or not. The grill can be put on an output part of the display so that an output image can be changed. 본 발명의 일면에 따른 전자 장치는, 영상을 출력하는 디스플레이와 음향을 출력하는 스피커 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 하우징; 상기 하우징의 제1면에 위치하며 그릴이 장착되는지를 식별하는 장착 감지부; 및 상기 장착 감지부에서 식별된 그릴 장착여부에 따라 상기 디스플레이의 출력 영상 또는 상기 스피커의 출력 음원 중 적어도 하나를 보상하도록 제어하는 프로세서;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
