Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a ruminant feed composition for reducing methane gas production in the rumen of ruminant animals, and to a method for suppressing methane production in the rumen by using the same. The ruminant feed composition for reducing methane gas production in the rumen of ruminant animals, comprising lysozyme of the present invention as an effective component reduces methane gas production in the rumen; has few side effects on a human body and animals, and thus is safe; and fundamentally reduces the causes of methane formation in the rumen, thereby suppressing methane production. Accordingly, the feed composition comprising lysozyme according to the present invention, suppresses methane production in the rumen of the ruminant animals when fed to ruminant animals; and increases feed efficiency, and thus can create additional monetary profits. 본 발명은 반추동물의 반추위 내 메탄가스 저감능을 갖는 반추동물용 사료 조성물 및 이를 이용하여 반추위 내 메탄 생성을 억제하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 라이소자임을 유효성분으로 포함하는 반추동물의 반추위 내 메탄가스 저감을 위한 반추동물용 사료 조성물은 반추위 내 메탄가스를 저감하며, 인체나 동물에 부작용이 적고 안전하며, 반추위 내 메탄을 생성하는 원인을 근본적으로 감소시켜 메탄 생성을 억제하는 효과를 나타낸다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 라이소자임을 포함하는 사료 조성물을 반추동물에게 급여시킬 경우 반추동물의 반추위 내 메탄 생성을 억제하고, 사료 이용 효율을 증가시켜 부가적인 경제적 이득을 취할 수 있다.
