The present invention relates to a wastebasket for child education which allows the wastebasket to stimulate curiosity of children to induce children to have a habit of throwing away garbage into the wastebasket from early childhood. The wastebasket for child education is formed to be a box of a prescribed size of which an upper portion is opened. A wall forming the wastebasket is formed in a double pipe to store liquid. A see-through window is formed on an outer wall surface and expressed in an animal shape or a tree shape. The wastebasket includes: a pressing unit to sense an amount of garbage placed on a bottom surface in the wastebasket to operate liquid to rise; and a garbage storage port. The pressing unit includes a liquid accommodation unit to adjust a water level supplied to a wastebasket body formed in a double pipe to raise the liquid on the figure window formed on a surface of the wall of the wastebasket and display the figure window to induce curiosity of children to induce children to throw away garbage into the wastebasket. 본 발명은 쓰레기통을 유아들의 호기심을 자극할 수 있도록 하여 유아기때 부터 쓰레기통에 쓰레기를 버리는 습관을 갖도록 유도할 수 있는 유아교육용 쓰레기통에 관한 것으로, 상부가 개방되는 일정 크기의 함체로 형성되는 쓰레기통에 있어서, 상기 쓰레기통을 형성하는 벽체는 액체를 수용할 수 있는 이중 관체로 형성되고, 외벽면은 동물 또는 나무 형상 등으로 표현된 투시창이 형성되며, 쓰레기통의 내부 바닥면에는 담기는 쓰레기 양을 감지하여 액체가 차오르게 가동하는 가압부와, 쓰레기수납구로 구성되며, 상기 가압부에는 액체수용부가 구성되어 이중 관체로 형성된 쓰레기통몸체에 투입되는 수위를 조절할 수 있도록 되어 쓰레기통 벽체 표면에 형성된 도형창에 액체가 상승하며 도형창을 표시하게 되어 유아들의 호기심을 유발하으로써 발생되는 쓰레기를 쓰레기통에 버리도록 유도할 수 있게 되는 것이다.
