The apparatus for packing food comprises: a container supplying apparatus for supplying containers for containing food by sellers; a food supplying apparatus for supplying an amount of food corresponding to the container supplied from the container supplying apparatus; and a packing apparatus for packing the food supplied from the food supplying apparatus with the container.
