Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing prion disease using major urinary protein (MUP). On an analysis on expression of MUP in blood of mice infected by denatured prion, expression rate of MUP is remarkably reduced compared to normal mice. Thus, the MUP protein can be useful as an indicator for prion disease. 본 발명은 MUP(Major urinary protein)을 이용한 프리온 질환 진단 방법에 관한 것으로, 변형 프리온 감염 마우스의 혈액에서 MUP의 발현을 분석한 결과, 정상 마우스 대비 MUP 발현이 현저히 감소한 것을 확인하였으므로, 상기 MUP 단백질은 프리온 질환의 지표물질로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
