The kapok-fiber or the kapok-nonwoven fabric padding-processed with the flame retardant processing agent prevents fire caused due to scattering by increasing weight and providing flame retardant properties, and has excellent effects such as acid resistance, light resistance, tackiness inhibition, inhibition of flour generation and the like to be useful for materials such as automobiles, clothes, and bedclothes. 본 발명은 케이폭 섬유 또는 케이폭 부직포의 난연 가공처리에 유용한 난연가공제에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 난연가공제로 패딩 처리된 케이폭 섬유 또는 케이폭 부직포는 무게 증량 및 난연성 부여로 비산(飛散)으로 인한 화재를 방지하면서도 내산성, 내광성, 끈적임 억제, 백분발생 억제 등의 효과가 우수하므로, 자동차, 의류, 침구류 등의 소재로 유용하다.
