Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a method outputting so that an image projected by a beam projector is not distorted regardless of an installation environment of the beam projector. The beam projector according to the present invention comprises: a projection part projecting the image or a pattern; a projection adjustment part adjusting a position of the projection part; and a control part controlling the projection adjustment part so that the projection part projects the pattern toward a space in which the beam projector is located, analyzing a structure of the space in which the beam projector is located based on the projected pattern, obtaining at least one projection region based on the analyzed structure of the space, and projecting the image to one of the at least one of the projection region. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 빔 프로젝터는 영상 또는 패턴을 투사하는 투사부, 투사부의 위치를 조절하는 투사 조절부 및 빔 프로젝터가 위치한 공간을 향해 패턴을 투사부가 투사하도록 투사 조절부를 제어하고, 투사된 패턴에 기초하여 빔 프로젝터가 위치한 공간의 구조를 분석하고, 분석된 공간의 구조에 기초하여 적어도 하나 이상의 투사 영역을 획득하고, 적어도 하나 이상의 투사 영역 중 어느 하나의 투사 영역에 영상을 투사하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
