APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING OBJECT

The present invention relates to an object detection apparatus. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the object detection apparatus provided in a vehicle comprises: a lidar sensor for measuring information of an object by emitting a laser signal; a radar sensor for measuring information of the object by emitting a digital beam signal; and a control unit for comparing distance information of the object measured in each of the lidar sensor and the radar sensor, and determining whether the distance information of the object measured in each of the lidar sensor and the radar sensor is synthesized according to the comparison result. 본 발명은 물체 탐지 장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 물체 탐지 장치는 차량에 구비된 물체 탐지 장치에 있어서, 레이저 신호를 방사하여 물체의 정보를 측정하는 라이더(Lidar) 센서; 디지털 빔 신호를 방사하여 상기 물체의 정보를 측정하는 레이더(Radar) 센서; 및 상기 라이더 센서 및 상기 레이더 센서 각각에서 측정된 상기 물체의 거리 정보를 비교하고, 비교 결과에 따라 상기 라이더 센서 및 상기 레이더 센서 각각에서 측정된 상기 물체의 거리 정보의 합성 여부를 판단하는 제어부를 포함한다.
