Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for preventing and treating male menopause containing the five pungent vegetables including garlic, scallion, wild chive, ginger and chive as active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating male menopause according to the present invention alleviates male menopause, thereby being effective in preventing or treating symptoms caused by male menopause. Also, a health functional food containing the composition of the present invention is effective in alleviating male menopause. The composition is effective in inhibiting death of TM3 cells. 본 발명은 오신채를 유효성분로 함유하는 남성 갱년기 예방 및 치료용 약학 조성물 및 건강기능식품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 남성 갱년기 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물은 남성의 갱년기를 개선하여 남성 갱년기로 인해 나타나는 증상들을 예방하거나 치료하는 효과가 있다. 또한 이들 조성물을 이루는 물질을 가지고 건강기능식품으로 제공하는 경우 남성 갱년기의 개선에 큰 효과가 있다. 한편, 이러한 조성물은 TM3 세포의 사멸을 억제하는 효과가 뛰어나다.
