Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of measuring dust capable of measuring dust in a flow path. The apparatus to measure dust comprises: a flow path formation portion to form a flow path in which fluid including dust moves; a light irradiation portion to irradiate light in the flow path; a light detection portion to detect scattered light from the dust in the flow path to convert into an electrical detection signal, and including a plurality of detection portions having different light detection ranges; and a control portion to control the flow path formation portion, the light irradiation portion, and the light detection portion wherein the control portion receives detection signals from the detection portions, corrects an offset with respect to the received detection signals, and is able to measure a concentration of the dust based on the detection signal with the corrected offset.
