Method for providing message and computer program recorded on computer readable recording medium for executing the method

The present invention provides a method and a computer program, which allow a user to rapidly understand chatting content without entering a chatting room by displaying a keyword included in a received message on a chatting room list. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the computer program stored in recording medium for executing a message providing method comprises the following steps of: receiving message data including a message and metadata from a server by using a computer; checking whether at least one preset keyword is included in the message, and referring to the checked result and the metadata to update chatting room data of the received chatting room including the message; and referring to the chatting room data, and displaying the chatting room list including inclusion information of the keyword of each chatting room. 본 발명의 일 실시예는, 컴퓨터를 이용하여 서버(Server)로부터 메시지(Message) 및 메타 데이터(Metadata)를 포함하는 메시지 데이터(Message Data)를 수신하는 단계; 상기 메시지에 기 설정된 하나 이상의 키워드(Keyword)가 포함되어 있는지 여부를 확인하고, 상기 확인 결과 및 상기 메타 데이터를 참조하여 상기 메시지가 포함되는 수신 채팅방의 채팅방 데이터를 갱신하는 단계; 및 상기 채팅방 데이터를 참조하여 각 채팅방의 키워드의 포함 정보를 포함하는 채팅방 목록을 표시하는 단계;를 포함하는, 메시지 제공 방법을 실행하기 위하여 기록 매체에 저장된 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개시한다.
