Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a control device mounted on a vehicle and a method for controlling the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the control device comprises: a sensing unit sensing a topographic condition of a road on which a vehicle is being driven; a headlamp formed to emit light to the front of the vehicle, and irradiating the light to a reference area in topography of the road in a first condition; and a processor controlling the headlamp for the light to be irradiated to the reference area even when the topography of the road is changed to a second condition different from the first condition. 본 발명은 차량에 구비된 제어장치 및 이의 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 제어 장치는, 차량이 주행중인 노면의 지형 상태를 센싱하는 센싱부, 상기 차량의 전방으로 광을 방출하도록 형성되며, 제1 상태인 노면의 지형에서 상기 광을 기준영역으로 조사하는 헤드램프 및 상기 노면의 지형이 상기 제1 상태와 다른 제2 상태로 변경되더라도 상기 광이 상기 기준영역으로 조사되도록 상기 헤드램프를 제어하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
