CIRCUIT BREAKER HAVING A FRAMED FINGER AREA

A switch assembly includes a housing. An escutcheon part located on the front surface of the housing has an elevated platform. A transition lamp is extended from the platform to a stationary area. A finger area is located near a stationary area. A peripheral frame surrounds the finger region so that the escutcheon part is aligned with the stationary area and forms notches which face each other. A handle includes a hub having an axial bore such that a pivot pin is inserted through the axial bore to rotatably connect the handle to the frame and/or the housing. A finger grip is extended from the hub. The finger grip has a textured forming part for manual actuation when a finger is inserted into the finger area and a surface that selectively touches the stationary area.
