Method and apparatus for performing rendering

The present invention provides a method and a device for performing a path rendering. Also, the present invention provides a computer readable recording medium recording a program for executing the method in a computer. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the rendering device comprises: a grouping part generating a group by grouping a plurality of objects in which the rendering is performed in one scene; a determining part determining whether to set a color on each of pixels included in the scene by using at least one of a stencil buffer and a depth buffer corresponding to each of the plurality of objects included in the group; and a rendering buffer storing information with respect to the pixel determined to set the color. 일 실시 예에 따른 렌더링 장치는, 하나의 장면(scene) 내에서 렌더링이 수행될 복수의 객체들을 그룹화하여 그룹을 생성하는 그룹화부, 그룹에 포함된 복수의 객체들 각각에 대응하는 스텐실 버퍼(Stencil buffer) 및 깊이 버퍼(depth buffer) 중 적어도 하나를 사용하여 장면에 포함된 픽셀들 각각에 컬러를 설정할지 여부를 결정하는 결정부, 및 컬러를 설정하기로 결정된 픽셀에 대한 정보를 저장하는 렌더링 버퍼를 포함할 수 있다.
