Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a slurry coating apparatus for a secondary battery and a slurry coating method for coating an active material on an electrode substrate of the secondary battery. The method includes the steps of: conveying a film-shaped electrode substrate to a space between a coating roll and a slurry discharge unit spaced apart from each other while having a gap there-between; coating an active material on the electrode substrate by discharging slurry onto the conveyed electrode substrate; and drying the coated active material. In the active material coating step, an uncoated unit is formed in a closed shape by having the peripheral areas surrounded by the active material.
