Zusammenfassung:Disclosed are a method for producing a cathode material for a solid oxide fuel cell and a cathode material by the same method. The method comprises: an SDC slurry preparing step of preparing SDC slurry comprising samarium doping ceria by mixing a samarium metal precursor to a ceria precursor at fixed mole% and dissolving the mixture in distilled water; an SDC powder coating step of mixing conductor powder to the SDC slurry to preparing a coating solution and forming an SDC coating layer on the surface of the conductive powder; and a cathode material powder preparing step of preparing cathode material powder made of conductive powder in which the SDC coating layer is coated on the surface through a drying process of the coating solution. 본 발명은 세리아 전구체에 사마륨 금속 전구체를 소정 mole%로 혼합하여 증류수에 용해시키면서 사마륨 도핑 세리아를 포함하는 SDC 슬러리를 제조하는 SDC 슬러리 제조 단계와, 상기 SDC 슬러리에 전도체 분말과 혼합하여 코팅 수용액을 만들어 상기 전도체 분말의 표면에 SDC 코팅층을 형성하는 SDC 분말 코팅 단계 및 상기 코팅 수용액의 건조 과정을 통하여 표면에 상기 SDC 코팅층이 코팅된 전도체 분말로 형성되는 공기극 재료용 분말을 제조하는 공기극 재료용 분말 제조단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 고체 산화물 연료 전지용 공기극 재료 제조 방법 및 이에 의한 공기극 재료를 개시한다.
