Drain Pump and Washing Machine Having the Same

The present invention relates to a drainage pump and a washing machine including the same and, more specifically, to a drainage pump and a washing machine including the same capable of reducing noises. To this end, the present invention relates to a washing device including a tub for accommodating washing water, a drum accommodated inside the tub so as to be rotatable, and a drainage pump for draining washing water inside a tub. The drainage pump includes: an impeller for forcibly discharging washing water; a housing having an impeller thereinside so as to be rotatable; a water introduction pipe communicating with the housing such that the washing water inside the tub is introduced into the housing; a water discharge pipe communicating with the housing such that the washing water inside the housing is discharged; and a communication portion for guiding the washing water, introduced into the housing, to the water introduction pipe. 본 발명은 배수펌프 및 이를 포함한 세탁장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 소음을 저감할 수 있도록 개선된 배수펌프 및 이를 포함한 세탁장치에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여, 세탁수가 수용되는 터브, 터브 내부에 회전 가능하게 수용되는 드럼 및 터브 내의 세탁수를 배수하기 위한 배수펌프를 포함하는 세탁장치에 있어서, 배수펌프는 세탁수를 강제배출시키는 임펠러; 내부에 임펠러가 회전 가능하게 구비되는 하우징; 터브 내의 세탁수가 하우징 내부로 유입되도록 하우징과 연통하는 입수관; 하우징 내부의 세탁수가 배출되도록 하우징과 연통하는 출수관; 및 하우징 내부로 유입된 세탁수를 입수관으로 안내하는 연통부;를 포함하는 세탁장치를 제공한다.
