| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an isoprenylcysteine carboxyl methyltransferase inhibitor (ICMT_Ph), and to a composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases comprising the same as an effective ingredient. The ICMT_Ph according to the present invention was confirmed to inhibit the generation of prostaglandin (prostaglandin E2: PGE_2) and tumor necrosis factor- (TNF-), thereby being used as medicines and health functional food useful for prevention or treatment of the inflammatory diseases.
