Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a vehicle collision avoiding device and an operation method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle collision avoiding device comprises: an image obtaining unit for obtaining a forward image of a vehicle; an image processing unit for detecting an obstacle in the forward image of the vehicle by image processing of the forward image information received from the image obtaining unit and confirming a type and characteristics of the obstacle detected; a collision time calculation unit for calculating a time to collision (TTC) between the vehicle and the obstacle according to the type and characteristics of the obstacle; and a collision avoiding unit for controlling the vehicle to avoid collision between the vehicle and the obstacle based on the time to collision (TTC). The present invention intends to provide a vehicle collision avoiding device and operation method thereof for identifying a type and characteristics of an obstacle and actively avoiding a collision between a vehicle and the obstacle.
본 발명은 차량 충돌 회피 장치 및 그 동작 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 차량 충돌 회피 장치는 차량의 전방 영상을 획득하는 영상 획득부, 상기 영상 획득부로부터 수신되는 전방 영상 정보를 영상 처리하여 상기 차량의 전방 영상에서 장애물을 검출하며, 검출된 상기 장애물의 종류 및 특성을 확인하는 영상 처리부, 상기 장애물의 종류 및 특성에 따라 상기 차량과 상기 장애물 간의 충돌소요시간(Time to Collision, TTC)을 산출하는 충돌소요시간 산출부, 및 상기 충돌소요시간에 기반하여 상기 차량과 상기 장애물 간의 충돌을 회피하도록 상기 차량을 제어하는 충돌 회피부를 포함한다. |
