METHOD FOR PREPARING WHOLLY AROMATIC POLYESTER RESIN AND WHOLLY AROMATIC POLYESTER RESIN PREPARED BY THE METHOD

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a wholly aromatic polyester resin, and the wholly aromatic polyester resin prepared by the method. The method comprises the following steps: performing an acetylation on aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid, aromatic diol, and aromatic dicarboxylic acid using an organic catalyst; producing prepolymers by minimizing side reactions, by using an inorganic catalyst during the acetylation; and performing polycondensation in a solid phase to obtain the wholly aromatic polyester resin. Therefore, byproducts remaining inside the resin are reduced, thereby reducing the amount of outgas generated with oligomers which are discharged during a molding process of the resin. 본 발명은 방향족 히드록시 카르복실산, 방향족 디올, 방향족 디카르복실산을 유기촉매를 사용하여 아세틸화 반응을 수행하고, 이후 에스테르화 반응시 무기촉매를 사용함으로써 부반응을 최소화하여 프리폴리머를 제조한 후 고상 중축합하여 전방향족 폴리에스테르 수지를 제조함으로써 수지 내 잔존하는 부산물을 감소시켜 수지의 성형 중 유출되는 올리고머와 발생되는 아웃가스의 양을 감소시킬 수 있는 전방향족 폴리에스테르 수지의 제조방법 및 이에 따라 제조된 전방향족 폴리에스테르에 관한 것이다.
