Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is an automatic exposing method for a camera. The automatic exposing method for a camera comprises steps (a) to (c). In step (a), a control part obtains a brightness comparison result, which is a result of comparing the brightness of the entire area of a photographed image with the brightness of a specific partial area of the photographed image. In step (b), the control part obtains a contrast comparison result, which is a result of comparing the contrast of the entire area with the contrast of the specific partial area by using contrast information on an image for automatic focusing. In step (c), the control part controls an exposure amount by selectively applying the brightness of the entire area or the brightness of the specific partial area in accordance with the brightness comparison result and the contrast comparison result.
