Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a polarizer and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly to a polarizer, which is dried by being in contact with a heat roll, and has low contractile force and reduces occurrence of a machine directional stain by having an arithmetic mean surface roughness (Ra) of 21 nm or less, and a manufacturing method thereof. 본 발명은 편광자 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는, 열롤에 접촉하여 건조되며 산술평균 표면 조도(Ra)가 21nm 이하임으로써, 수축력이 낮고 기계 방향 얼룩 발생이 저감된 편광자 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
