The apparatus for purifying contaminated soil may include: an eluting means mixing the contaminated soil with a solvent to elute contaminants from the soil; and a high pressure washing and assorting means separating the contaminants eluted in an eluting tank from the soil, and assorting the soil by particle size. 오염물질에 의해 오염된 토양을 정화시키는 오염토양 정화장치 및 정화방법이 개시된다. 상기 오염토양 정화장치는, 오염물질이 토양으로부터 용출되도록 오염토양과 용매를 함께 혼합하는 용출수단과; 상기 용출조에서 용출된 오염물질을 토양으로부터 분리하고, 토양을 입자크기별로 분리하는 고압세정선별수단; 을 포함할 수 있다.
